
By 2026, 40 industrial projects are planned to be launched in the Central Asia Cooperation Center located in Sirdarya district, Sirdarya region. The total value of these projects amounts to $720 million, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced during a session of the regional Council of People's Deputies.
By the end of the first quarter of next year, 14 enterprises with a total value of $300 million are expected to begin operations at the center. In addition, the launch of a $122 million Uzbek-Chinese automobile plant is anticipated.
The President also highlighted the positive experience in Saykhunabad district, where a new system for ensuring employment has been introduced.
As a result, 15,000 people now have a stable income, and 1,500 families have been lifted out of poverty. “Today, despite Saykhunabad previously being one of the most 'difficult' districts, you are witnessing changes in people's lives and their mood,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
