Uzbekistan’s investment volume rose by 24% in one year

According to the 2025 results, the total volume of investments attracted in Uzbekistan amounted to $43.1 billion. This is 24% higher than the 2024 figure, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade reported.

The largest share came from foreign direct investment, which reached $38.2 billion. Another $4.9 billion was attracted through international financial institutions.

According to the ministry, Uzbekistan’s leading investment partners included China, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Growing confidence in the market was also confirmed by the entry of major brands such as Volkswagen, Alshaya Group and Franklin Templeton.

The Citi financial group and Japan’s Sojitz Corporation also launched operations. In addition, Cleveland Clinic, agribusiness company Aviagen and producer Wilmar entered the Uzbek market.

The ministry attributed the stronger inflow to improved conditions for foreign businesses and the launch of new projects.
