In the 1st round of the Super League, clubs may not be able to field their main players
The UzPFL has notified Superliga clubs of clause 11.7 of the regulations. Clause 11.7 of the “Superliga and Pro League Regulations” states as follows:

After the licensing documents granting the right to participate in the competition are formalized, the licenses are issued to the authorized representative of the club under his personal responsibility, confirmed by his signature, under the following conditions:

- upon submission to the League of a document proving that the license granting the right to work with the technology specified in clause 10.18 of the regulations has been purchased by the end of the season;

- upon submission to the League of a contract concluded with a centralized company providing information on the player’s statistical indicators in official matches based on video analysis. Without these documents, the club cannot obtain a license for a player born in 2002 or older.

The League included this clause in the regulations in order to implement the tasks set out in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5887 dated December 4, 2019 “On measures to bring the development of football in Uzbekistan to a completely new level”, which has been gradually tightened. In particular, last season, it was revealed that a number of clubs provided false information to the League in the implementation of this clause, and disciplinary measures were applied to them.

In order to prevent a similar situation from occurring in the current season, the Super League clubs were notified in December of last year that the above changes to the regulations were being made. Over the past three months, the League's specialists have provided practical assistance to the clubs in this issue and negotiations. Despite this, some clubs have not yet submitted the relevant licenses to the League's list.

Based on this, if a club in the first round of the Super League takes the field only with players born in 2003 and later, the League will not have issued an adult player license to this team. "We hope that football fans will perceive such situations correctly and demand professionalism from their team's management," the PFL statement said.
