The average age for men deciding to marry for the first time was 26.2 years, while for women, this figure was slightly lower — 21.8 years. This is according to data from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The dynamics of the average age of those entering into their first marriage in the country are as follows:

Men:
• 2000 — 24.2 years;
• 2005 — 25 years;
• 2010 — 25.6 years;
• 2015 — 25.9 years;
• 2020 — 26.4 years;
• 2024 — 26.2 years.

Women:
• 2000 — 21.4 years;
• 2005 — 22.2 years;
• 2010 — 22.4 years;
• 2015 — 22.5 years;
• 2020 — 22.3 years;
