Today, July 6, a fire broke out on the hills near the "Korankul" neighborhood of the Bostonliq district of Tashkent region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report about the incident at 16:38, and by 17:00, 4 fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene.
Due to the rapid spread of the fire, there was a risk of the area expanding. Therefore, to keep the situation under control and quickly contain the fire, additional forces from the "Burchmulla" forestry were involved. Their main task was to prevent the spread of the fire and assist the firefighting team.
It is reported that it took almost two hours to fully surround the fire. The fire was encircled at 18:50 and completely extinguished by 19:16. Only after that was safety ensured for the forestry area and local residents.
Most importantly, no one was injured in this fire. This was made possible by quick action, coordinated work of services, and the active participation of volunteers.
The cause of the fire is not yet officially determined. However, in many cases, such fires occur due to human factors — negligence, violation of fire safety rules, or accidental hazardous behavior. Specialists are currently investigating this.
Additionally, representatives from the Ecology Committee, forestry experts, and MES officers have begun inspections in the area. They will determine the cause of the fire, the scale of its impact, and the estimated damage.
Due to several fire incidents reported across the country in recent days, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has appealed to the public. Citizens are urged to strictly follow fire safety regulations and refrain from carelessly discarding flammable items in dry vegetation or forest areas.
At the same time, it was emphasized that any suspicious cases should be immediately reported by calling "101". This is important not only for personal safety but also for protecting nature.
According to experts, high temperatures, dry conditions, and windy weather increase the risk of fires during this season. Therefore, the ecological awareness and responsibility of every citizen are of great importance.
On the other hand, such fires severely affect not only plant life but also animals. Protected areas, natural ecosystems, birds, and wildlife can all be endangered. Thus, every person can make a significant impact through conscious and cautious behavior.
Earlier, it was reported that two fire incidents were recorded in the Takhtakoracha area of Kashkadarya region. To prevent the recurrence of such situations, not only state services but also every citizen should act responsibly.
Today’s situation once again demonstrated that speed, unity, and environmental awareness can help contain dangerous events. However, the most effective way to address such threats is to prevent them.
Therefore, from today, each of us must treat nature with care and respect as our duty. Nature is ours, and its protection is in our hands. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
