Uzbek athletes won three bronze medals at the Asian Games

On October 28, 2025, at the 3rd Asian Youth Games held in Bahrain, representatives of the Uzbekistan national team — Nazokat Mardonova, Ulbosin Jalgasboyeva and Mirjalol Mukammilov — won bronze medals in boxing and freestyle wrestling competitions. In the fight for reaching the finals, Uzbek athlete Nazokat Mardonova competed against India's Ahan Sharma and earned the bronze medal. In the women's 66 kg weight category semifinal in boxing, Ulbosin Jalgasboyeva entered the ring against a representative of Kazakhstan. As a result of an intense bout, Jalgasboyeva lost the chance to advance and won the bronze medal.
