Riyadh 2025: Gold and Silver for Uzbekistan


On November 19, 2025, Uzbekistan's athletes continue their successful participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games. In decathlon events held in Riyadh, two Uzbek athletes simultaneously ascended the winners' podium.

Nodir Norboyev successfully completed all stages of the decathlon program and secured the gold medal, claiming first place. Another representative of Uzbekistan, Zohiriddin Shokirov, finished the competition in second place, earning the silver medal.

Thus, Uzbek athletes brought home two medals at once.
