
The Uzbekistan U-18 women’s football team began their participation in the CAFA tournament with a draw. The team, led by Viktoriya Sirota, played to a 0-0 stalemate against Tajikistan.
This match took place at the Uzbekistan Independent Football Center stadium. The team fielded its optimal lineup, with Dekanbayeva serving as the captain.
The game started at a calm pace, with Uzbekistan controlling the center of play. Coach Sirota sought to maintain a balance between wing attacks and quick pressing.

The Uzbekistan team began the match actively and dominated ball possession. They attempted to apply pressure through the wings, but Tajikistan’s dense defense slowed their progress.
In the 20th minute, Yusupova received a pass from Mamateliyeva and struck a shot towards goal, but it missed the target. After halftime, the Uzbek players intensified their pressing.
Dekanbayeva initiated several attacks through the left wing, while Abdulazizova attempted long-range shots. Tajikistan responded with counterattacks, but Khalkulova reliably protected the goal.
Towards the end of the match, Sirota made several tactical substitutions, which strengthened the team’s play in central midfield. However, neither side was able to create decisive chances.
In the end, the score remained 0-0, earning Uzbekistan their first point in the tournament.
