Tottenham suffer early FA Cup exit for first time since 2013/14

London club Tottenham, led by Thomas Frank, suffered another setback: they lost 1–2 to Aston Villa and were knocked out of the FA Cup. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

After the match it emerged that Spurs had last exited the FA Cup this early—failing to reach the fourth round—in the 2013/2014 season.

The team’s Premier League situation is also far from ideal: the club is stuck in the lower part of the table and currently sits 14th.

Tottenham last won the FA Cup in 1991. Overall, the Londoners have lifted the trophy eight times.
