Karim Benzema’s current contract with Al-Ittihad runs until the end of this season. The Saudi club’s sporting director Ramon Planes answered questions about the striker’s next plans. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
According to Planes, Benzema wants to stay with the team and is determined to continue his career in Saudi Arabia and with Al-Ittihad. In his view, a serious project is taking shape at the club, with top-level players in the squad.
As a reminder, in December the 38-year-old French footballer did not give a clear answer about his future, saying he was focusing on the current situation.
Al-Ittihad are currently fifth in the Saudi Pro League standings.
