Former Manchester United defender and ex-France international Patrice Evra recalled that early in his career he could have joined PSG. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Evra, he had a trial with the Paris club, but in the end he was not offered a contract. “They told me: ‘You’re very good, but you’re short. And given your height, we don’t want you stealing in the dressing room,’” Football Talk quotes Evra as saying.
During his career, Evra played for Marsala, Monza, Nice, Monaco, Manchester United, Juventus, Marseille and West Ham. He won a total of 19 trophies — including five league titles in England, two in Italy and the UEFA Champions League. For the France national team, Evra made 81 appearances and recorded no goals or assists.
