By agreement with the coach, Cristiano Ronaldo has not been playing in the AFC Champions League Two group-stage matches in Asia. Even so, Al Nassr have been delivering consistent results without their leader. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
On Wednesday, the Saudi club also won their fifth group match: in Tajikistan, Istiklol were thrashed 4–0.
After the match, Ronaldo shared a post on social media saying Al Nassr finished the group in first place and advanced to the next round. Cristiano added fire and clapping emojis to the post.
The 40-year-old forward’s current contract with Al Nassr runs until mid-2027.
