Cristiano Ronaldo, by agreement with the coach, is not featuring in AFC Champions League Two group-stage matches. Even so, Al Nassr continue their confident run without their leader. This is reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
On Wednesday, the Saudi club won their fifth group match as well: the team thrashed Istiklol 4–0 in Tajikistan.
After the match, Ronaldo reposted news on social media that Al Nassr had finished top of the group and advanced to the next round. The Portuguese forward added fire and applause emojis to the post.
Ronaldo is now 40. His current contract with Al Nassr runs until mid-2027.
