Hongqi P567 SUV with 843 horsepower unveiled in Beijing

At the ongoing Beijing Auto Show, China's state-owned FAW Group unveiled its new body-on-frame Hongqi P567 SUV. This vehicle is the first SUV in the brand's history to feature a rugged design, created in accordance with the latest trends in the Chinese automotive market. Although the official market name of the new model has not yet been announced, it is attracting significant attention with its technical specifications. This was reported by Китайские-автомобили.рф.
The exterior of the car is distinguished by the brand's signature vertical-slat radiator grille and an illuminated red stripe. Additionally, massive bumpers, rectangular headlights, and a lidar system on the roof indicate the presence of autopilot functions. The Hongqi P567 model was also presented in special versions created in collaboration with the Yunliang tuning studio, featuring additional accessories and unique design elements.

Technically, the novelty is based on a series hybrid system. It includes a 2-liter turbo engine acting as a generator and four electric motors. The total output is 843 horsepower and 1320 Nm of torque. The car reaches 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. With a full charge and a full tank, the SUV can cover a distance of 1350 km, while it can travel 280 km on electric power alone.
A minimalist style was chosen for the interior, which features a four-spoke steering wheel, a virtual instrument cluster, and a multimedia system. The vehicle is equipped with air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and three differential locks. The dimensions of the Hongqi P567 are: length 5120 mm, width 2050 mm, and height 1960 mm. The wheelbase is 2900 mm.
