In the 31st round of the Iraqi championship, Erbil played away against Al-Talaba and secured an important victory in a goal-filled, tightly contested match.
The meeting turned into a real thriller. Both teams played attacking football, giving fans a high-scoring game. For the visitors, in addition to goals from Cabrera and Barco, Uzbekistan national team striker Sherzod Temirov also made his mark.
Temirov scored his team's third goal in the match, netting his 24th goal of the season in just 17 games. This result once again confirmed that he is currently in top form.
The hosts also fought back. Goals from Abdulzahro and Msuya kept the drama alive until the final minutes. However, Erbil held on to win 3-2.
