Stars shine on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival

The opening ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival took place in Cannes, France, on May 12. Prior to the event, the traditional red carpet ceremony was held, featuring prominent figures from the world of cinema and fashion.

This year, actress Demi Moore was one of the stars who drew the most attention on the red carpet. Jane Fonda, Nataly and Murad Osmann, Poppy Delevingne, James Franco with his girlfriend Isabel Pakzad, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Elijah Wood with his wife Mette-Marie Kongsved, and Joan Collins also made appearances at the ceremony.

The festival's official competition jury includes filmmakers such as Stellan Skarsgård, Diego Céspedes, Laura Wandel, Park Chan-wook, Chloé Zhao, Isaach de Bankolé, Ruth Negga, and Paul Laverty.
