Tunisia announces extended squad for 2026 FIFA World Cup

The Tunisian Football Federation has officially announced the national team's squad for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The team is composed of players competing in various European and domestic clubs.

Aymen Dahmen (Sfaxien), Sabri Ben Hassan (Etoile du Sahel), and Abdelmouhib Chamakh (Club Africain) have been named as goalkeepers.

The defensive line includes Yan Valery (Young Boys), Moutaz Neffati (Norrköping), Dylan Bronn (Servette), Rayed Chihi (Monastir), Montassar Talbi (Lorient), Adem Arrous (Kasimpasa), Omar Rekik (Maribor), Ali Abdi (Nice), and Mohamed Amine Hamida (Esperance).

Among the midfielders, Ellyes Skhiri (Eintracht), Anis Ben Slimane (Norwich City), Rani Khedira (Union Berlin), Mortadha Ben Ouannes (Kasimpasa), Ismael Gharbi (Augsburg), Hadj Mahmoud (Lugano), and Hannibal Mejbri (Burnley) will ensure the team's balance.

The attacking line features Elias Saad (Hannover), Khalil Ayari (PSG), Elias Achouri (Copenhagen), Sebastian Tounekti (Celtic), Hazem Mastouri (Dynamo Makhachkala), Firas Chaouat (Club Africain), and Rayan Elloumi (Vancouver Whitecaps).

Recall that in the 2026 World Cup, the Tunisia national team will compete in Group F against the Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden.
