Although the Polish shot-stopper is fighting for the title with his team, he admitted his focus was on his former club Arsenal's Premier League match. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Szczesny did not hide his loyalty to his former club, and while everyone in the Barcelona dressing room was preparing for El Clasico, he was watching the match between Arsenal and West Ham. He paid particular attention to a VAR situation involving Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
In an interview with Eleven Sports PL, Szczesny explained the situation: "While everyone was preparing for El Clasico, I was trying to determine whether David Raya had been fouled or not."
The goalkeeper defended his colleague, stating that he considered the referees' decision correct. According to him, the opposing player grabbed Raya's arm, preventing him from jumping properly, which is clearly a foul.
