Real Madrid has initiated negotiations with Jose Mourinho as part of changes to its coaching staff. According to the Spanish press, the club's management sees the Portuguese specialist as the primary candidate to lead the team out of its crisis. This is reported by Goal.com .
Mourinho has set two key conditions for a return to the Bernabéu. First, he demands full control over the club's transfer policy. The coach wants to decide for himself which positions need strengthening to address the squad's imbalances.
The second condition concerns the club's internal structure and the autonomy of the coaching staff. Mourinho is demanding a limitation on interference in the sports department's work and guarantees of independence in his decision-making.
Initial talks have begun between the specialist's agent, Jorge Mendes, and representatives of the Madrid club. However, the parties have agreed not to formalize negotiations until the end of the season.
