Bayern Munich looks to profit from Alexander Nübel transfer

The future of goalkeeper Alexander Nübel is becoming clearer following the upcoming World Cup. Bayern Munich could not only see a significant financial gain from this transfer but also use the player as a bargaining chip in key negotiations. It has been revealed that Nübel will not remain at Bayern next season and will not return to VfB Stuttgart, where he is currently on loan. This is reported by Goal.com .

Currently, three unnamed top clubs are competing for the 29-year-old shot-stopper. Nübel refused to sign a permanent contract with VfB Stuttgart, as he is unwilling to accept a significant salary cut. He currently earns 11 million euros per year, with Bayern paying 7 million of that under the loan agreement. Stuttgart plans to start the new season with young talent Dennis Seimen.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund confirmed that Nübel is no longer part of the German record champions' plans. The club has extended Manuel Neuer's contract and is placing its trust in Jonas Urbig and Sven Ulreich as backup goalkeepers. Although Nübel's current contract runs until 2030, the club intends to expand its transfer budget by selling him.

The Munich side aims to sell Nübel to a Premier League club. This transfer would bring in significant funds for Bayern while allowing Nübel to earn a competitive salary. Furthermore, this deal could play a crucial role in ongoing negotiations with Newcastle United regarding the transfer of Anthony Gordon.
