David Alaba will part ways with Real Madrid at the end of the current season. The Madrid club officially confirmed on Friday that the Austrian defender's expiring contract will not be renewed. David Alaba joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2021. In Madrid, he won the Champions League twice and La Liga twice. However, his time in Spain was overshadowed by serious injuries. Due to a torn ACL at the end of 2023 and a subsequent meniscus injury, he was sidelined for a long period and played only 15 matches this season.
