Samsung continues to actively roll out the May 2026 security update for its Galaxy A series smartphones. This week, the software update was released for four popular models: Galaxy A73, Galaxy A56, Galaxy A26, and Galaxy A24. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new firmware versions are released under specific build numbers for each model (Galaxy A73 — A736BXXSCGZE2, Galaxy A24 — A245FXXSCEZE1, Galaxy A56 — A566BXXSACZE2, Galaxy A26 — A266BXXS9BZE5) and serve to improve system stability. This package fixes a total of 36 vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and the One UI interface.
Along with the security patch, the Samsung Galaxy A56 model also received the new One UI 8.5 interface. This allows users to take advantage of updated features and improved interface capabilities.
The remaining three models — Galaxy A73, Galaxy A26, and Galaxy A24 — are also included in the list of devices that will receive the One UI 8.5 update soon. Currently, these updates are being rolled out gradually across different regions.
