Corruption-related crimes in Uzbekistan revealed

It was reported that 7,354 individuals were held accountable for corruption-related offenses in the country during 2024.

The most frequent cases by region:

- Andijan region - 882;

- Namangan region - 877;

- Tashkent region - 697;

- Kashkadarya region - 695 units;

- Samarkand region - 643.

The fewest cases were recorded as follows:

- Khorezm region - 157;

- Jizzakh region - 266;

- Navoi region - 366.

As can be seen from the figures presented, the effective fight against corruption still remains one of the most important issues on the country\'s agenda.
