Landmen Season 2 Sets Record with 9 Million Views

The second season of the series "Landmen" premiered on the Paramount+ platform on November 16 and gathered 9.2 million views within just 48 hours, achieving the platform's best launch performance to date. Interest in the series has tripled compared to last year's debut.

Taylor Sheridan's new story is once again at the center of global attention. The new season's events continue in western Texas, a region where the oil industry defines life.

Tommy Norris and Kami Miller have to manage a major oil company. Their partnership is marked by pragmatism, risks, and interdependence.

The cast includes returning actors such as Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Sam Elliott, among others. While Tommy struggles to keep the company afloat, challenges within his personal life also start to surface.

His son begins working in drilling operations, while his daughter faces the harsh realities of the business. Old wounds within the family also come to light.

As Tommy strengthens his influence, the surrounding conflicts escalate as well. The series' first season was a massive success, with Paramount Global reporting 35 million views.

The project, rated 8.2 on the "Kinopoisk" platform, has joined the ranks of globally renowned series like "Tulsa King" and "Yellowstone." The second season was filmed in Fort Worth, Texas, a region historically tied to the rise of the oil industry.

Many scenes were shot at active production facilities. The premiere episode aired on November 16.

New episodes will be released every Sunday and will run until January 18, 2026. In total, ten episodes have been prepared for viewers, exclusively available on the Paramount+ platform.
