Egypt win AFCON and reach the semi-finals

The quarter-final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations has concluded. Egypt defeated Côte d’Ivoire 3–2 and are now set to face Senegal in the next round, where a fierce battle is expected. This win reflects not only strong results, but also Egypt’s dream and determination to play true football.
Every goal carries its own historical value, and each strike in this match deserves special praise. In the 4th minute, Marmoush’s goal showed the team’s brilliant start. In the 32nd minute, Rabia added a second, proving that Egypt’s experience always matters against tough opponents. And Salah’s superb goal in the 52nd minute once again confirmed that he is not only the shining star of his team, but also one of the biggest names in African football.
Côte d’Ivoire also fought bravely, which undoubtedly delighted their fans. An own goal in the 40th minute and Due’s goal in the 73rd reduced the deficit, but it was not enough to turn the result in their favor.
As a result, the Egyptian “Pharaohs” move on after a 3–2 win and are ready for the next stage against Senegal. This victory is more than just a scoreline: it shows the team’s strength, the youngsters’ unity, and how they grow in spirit by overcoming mistakes while moving toward their true goal. Egypt are ready for new challenges.
