Japan’s TOHO film company has announced the global release date for “Godzilla: Minus Zero”: the movie will open in theaters worldwide on November 6 this year. Kursiv.uz reports. reports .
The film is a sequel to “Godzilla: Minus One” and will premiere in Japan on November 3. The release date is said to have been chosen to coincide with the anniversary of the first “Godzilla” film, released in 1954.
Takashi Yamazaki returns to the project: once again, he will serve as director and screenwriter, and also oversee the visual effects.
“Godzilla: Minus One” was released in 2023 and, despite a $15 million budget, grossed more than $113 million worldwide. The story is set in postwar Japan, shaken by Godzilla’s attack. Through the character of a former military pilot who feels guilty for surviving, the film explores human drama, responsibility, and the cost of survival.
