“Wish Map” series: premiere date, genre and plot details

In 2026, Okko released a new series titled “Wish Map”, a comedy drama with mystical elements. The project satirically interprets trends around popular psychological practices and the info-business, asking viewers one sharp question: what happens if wishes start coming true literally and unexpectedly? This is reported by kursiv.uz reports .
The series premiered on January 1, 2026. All episodes of the first season were released at once for online viewing on Okko.
At the center of the story is Olesya, a young woman who is constantly dissatisfied with her life, relationships, and the people around her. She tends to shift responsibility for her failures onto others, while deep down she wishes to punish those who have hurt her.
Following her friend’s advice, Olesya joins a psychological marathon and makes a “wish map.” But instead of ordinary dreams, she depicts “punishments” for people who get on her nerves. Suddenly, these intentions begin to materialize in real life—harshly, literally, and often irreversibly.
Olesya encounters the idea after a talk by info-guru Yekaterina Polonskaya and draws a series of “punishments” for those around her. Soon the first strange coincidences appear: a coworker gets injured, and a fire breaks out at the registry office. Olesya realizes it’s no longer a coincidence.
She tries to stop the process, but the map keeps “working”: dangerous incidents follow one after another at her workplace. After the next mysterious event, Polonskaya is arrested. Faya says the map can be tricked—by redrawing it to change the outcome.
But the conflicts only deepen: Polonskaya suspects Olesya and orders her eliminated. At the same time, it unexpectedly turns out that Olesya’s mother is already in the late stages of pregnancy, intensifying family and personal tensions. The wish map spirals completely out of control.
In the next twist, Polonskaya’s assistant Dmitry kidnaps Olesya: seeking help for his autistic son, he demands that she use the map. This reveals a key truth: the map doesn’t “heal”—it merely mirrors a person’s inner conflicts and resentments.
Eventually, Olesya concludes that the way to undo wishes begins with forgiveness and acceptance. She manages to reconcile with Faya, and one of the wishes on the map is reversed. The plot also includes an absurd yet symbolic episode: Olesya’s father’s spirit seemingly appears in a child’s body—becoming the point where she says goodbye to old grievances and pain.
In the finale, Olesya refuses to marry Igor, realizing they are not right for each other. The final “wish” about her mother’s pregnancy remains in place. The story ends with the baby’s birth and Olesya giving up destructive wishes.
