The updated ballet performance of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" will be held at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theater. Performances are scheduled for December 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, and 31.
In 2023, director Maksim Petrov prepared the modern staging of "The Nutcracker." His interpretation transforms the classic story into a vivid stage journey — from a family evening to the legendary battle with the mouse army and a cosmic fairy tale.
The musical part will be conducted under the leadership of Alibek Kabdurakhmonov. Stage decorations and costumes will make the performance even more impressive.
This production will feature the country's leading creative ensembles: the ballet troupe of the Grand Theater, the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, and the "Bulbulcha" children's choir and dance ensemble. Tickets can be purchased via iTicket.
