"An Nasr" defeated "At Ta'awun" and rose to 2nd place (video)

In the 17th round of the Saudi Arabian Championship, "An Nasr" hosted "At Ta'awun" at their home ground, and one episode decided the fate of the game. On paper, the score was small - 1:0, but the internal drama of the match and the value of the points were much greater.
As the first half drew to a close, an unexpected moment occurred in the 45th minute: Al Dossari scored an own goal for the visitors. Thus, teamwork, pressure, and patience alone were enough for An Nasr to win - and the goal was "gifted" by the opponent's own hands.
Nevertheless, the scene in the square was not ordinary. Because "An Nasr" had players like Ronaldo, Felix, and Mane who were "explosive" in attack, every attack smelled of goals. Brozovich tried to control the tempo of the game, while the wings increased their speed and pressure. At Ta'awun, however, relied mainly on organized defense and counterattacks - it was important for them to stand firm.
Following this victory, the Jezush team (i.e., An Nasr) reached 40 points and returned to 2nd place. Now they are 5 points behind the leader, Al-Hilal. "At Ta'avun" remained in 5th place with 35 points - that is, the struggle for higher positions is not yet fully over, but the value of each point is increasing.
Saudi Pro League Round 17

The conclusion is one: sometimes a beautiful combination is not necessary - in the championship race, the most important thing is a point. "An-Nasr" kept exactly that.
