Iran rejected the ceasefire proposal, tensions are escalating

As the situation in the Middle East became increasingly complex, Iranian officials did not accept the 48-hour ceasefire proposal put forward by the US. This was reported by the Fars news agency.

According to sources, Tehran demonstrated its position not by making an official statement, but by continuing military operations. This indicates that a cautious and firm approach to negotiations is maintained.

It is noted that Washington, in particular, after the strike on the American military warehouse on the island of Bubiana, tried to diplomatically ease the situation and seek an agreement on a ceasefire.

At the same time, according to The Wall Street Journal, the initiatives of regional states led by Pakistan to stop the war are not yet effective. Iran does not want to meet with US officials in Islamabad in the coming days and considers the demands put forward by Washington unacceptable.

However, diplomatic efforts have not completely ceased. Turkey and Egypt are considering Doha or Istanbul as new negotiating platforms.

According to US intelligence, Iran is not yet ready for negotiations and considers itself in a relatively superior position. Therefore, he does not want to yield to external pressures.

In addition, Tehran considers the negotiations a potential "trap." In their opinion, such meetings can lead to dangerous actions against political figures.
