Germany introduces a travel restriction for men under 45 years old

In Germany, men under the age of 45 are now prohibited from leaving the country without special permission for more than three months. This was reported by the Berliner Zeitung.

As a rule, men planning to stay abroad for more than three months, regardless of whether the purpose of the trip is strictly different - study, work, or long-term travel, must obtain a special permit.

The German government aims to increase its armed forces from the current 184,000 to 255,000-270,000 by 2035. In this regard, the introduced restriction is aimed at maintaining control over persons fit for military service and guaranteeing the possibility of possible mobilization.
