No concrete results on opening the Strait of Hormuz during Trump's visit to China

It is reported that no concrete results were achieved regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz during US President Donald Trump's visit to China. According to Bloomberg, Iran is not currently showing much interest in easing its control over the strait.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that his country will implement "effective and professional control mechanisms" in the Strait of Hormuz. This indicates that even if the war ends, Tehran intends to maintain control over this strategic corridor.
At the same time, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz should be opened as soon as possible. However, although Beijing and Washington seem to be in agreement on this issue, the strait remains closed in practice.
The agency notes that China has repeatedly criticized US and Israeli attacks against Iran. Therefore, although there was an attempt to show a common position on the Middle East during the meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping, the parties remain essentially divided.
Due to threats of attacks on ships, traffic in Hormuz is again severely restricted. According to MarineTraffic data, only five ships have passed through the strait in the last 24 hours.
