Apple prepares new privacy-enhancing features for Siri

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple will unveil an updated version of Siri at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. This update is a crucial step for the company to strengthen its position in the field of artificial intelligence. This is reported by Techcrunch.com .
The new Siri is expected to be introduced as a standalone app powered by Google Gemini technology. This will allow users to interact with chatbots like ChatGPT, but unlike its competitors, Apple is prioritizing privacy.
The company plans to limit the retention period for user data. Specifically, a feature similar to the Messages app may appear in Siri, allowing users to automatically delete their conversations after 30 days or one year.
Experts believe that by prioritizing privacy, Apple may be attempting to mask Siri's shortcomings compared to other AI systems. Additionally, the use of Google technologies may raise some security concerns.
