
The South Korean company Hansae Mobility has started the construction of a factory producing automobile spare parts in Fergana. The investment amount allocated for the project totals 30 billion US dollars.
The factory will produce half-shafts — components responsible for transmitting engine power to the wheels. Production is planned to commence in 2026.
The facility will have an annual production capacity of 500,000 units. Hansae Mobility is already among the major suppliers to UzAuto.
From January to September, the company’s sales in Uzbekistan amounted to 49.8 billion won (33.8 million US dollars), constituting 14 percent of its total revenue. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
