EBRD Allocates 10 Million Euros for MaxCopper

Uzbekistan’s MaxCopper company will receive a €10 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). These funds will be allocated to the development of copper pipe production.

The allocated loan will enable the company to establish production of copper pipes and compatible components. These products are essential for heating and ventilation systems.

Within the project framework, the company also plans to manufacture lightweight copper pipes and spiral-shaped products. The majority of the manufactured products are intended for export to Europe and neighboring countries.

"This project will facilitate the establishment of new copper pipe production in Uzbekistan, which is a significant step toward diversifying the country’s industrial base," EBRD representatives stated.

MaxCopper was established in October 2022 in Tashkent and specializes in the production of construction materials and metal products.
