
Afghanistan has decided to redirect its coal exports from Pakistan to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Afintl portal.
A representative of the Balkh provincial administration announced that a trade agreement has been signed between Tashkent and Kabul. This shift in export geography is occurring against a backdrop of tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In the fall of this year, armed clashes took place at the border between the two countries. The Taliban also announced plans to use Uzbekistan as a transit route for air export of European agricultural products.
