Messages circulated about replacing old driver's licenses have been rejected

Reports circulating on social media about the mandatory and free re-examination of drivers who received national driver's licenses before 2021 at new examination centers have been refuted.
According to the official statement of the press service of the Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, these reports do not correspond to reality and have no legal basis.
"We ask users of social networks not to spread such false information and not to mislead citizens," the official statement said.
As a reminder, according to Article 2022 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, the dissemination of false information that threatens public order or security, including in the mass media, telecommunication networks, or the Internet, can result in a fine of 50 to 100 times.
