Uzbekistan plans to increase the production of construction materials to 62 trillion soums and raise export volumes to $1.5 billion. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved a resolution aimed at developing the construction materials industry.
According to the resolution, representatives of Uzbek enterprises will be allowed safe passage to and from Afghanistan via the "Termez" border checkpoint. This process will be supervised by the Border Service.
Additionally, starting from July 1, 2026, specialists involved in project examinations will be required to ensure that at least 25% of the materials used are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
