Fabregas’ Como thrash Lazio in Rome

As Matchday 21 of the Italian league came to a close, the final game was played in Rome. Lazio hosted Como, but the night belonged not to the home side — it turned into a celebration for Cesc Fabregas’ men. The visitors dominated throughout, winning 3–0 and sealing an emphatic victory.
The outcome began to take shape very early. Baturin opened the scoring in the 2nd minute — Lazio had barely settled into the game when Como struck. The visitors kept pressing: in the 24th minute Pas got on the scoresheet. He wasn’t done — he scored again in the 49th minute to complete his brace.
Notably, Pas could have made the night even bigger. In the 35th minute Como earned a penalty, but Pas failed to convert from 11 metres. Still, the overall pattern didn’t change: Como remained in full control and comfortably protected the scoreline.
With this win, Como moved to 37 points and climbed to 6th place in the table. Lazio stayed 9th with 28 points — a 0–3 home defeat was clearly a heavy blow for the Rome fans.
