The official of the Health Department was arrested

The State Security Service detained a responsible employee of the Health Department, a chief engineer of the power supply department, and a deputy school principal.

During an operational operation conducted by employees of the Tashkent City Department of the State Security Service in cooperation with the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, a responsible employee of the Tashkent Regional Health Department was detained with material evidence while agreeing to sell medical supplies stored at the Special Medical Supplies Base under the Department for 57,880 US dollars to the buyer by forging documents and receiving 40,000 US dollars in advance.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this person under Article 167, Part 3, Subparagraph “a” and Article 209, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of arrest has been applied.

In the case observed in the Jizzakh region, the chief engineer of the Jizzakh branch of the “Regional Electric Networks” joint-stock company Sharof Rashidov district power supply department was arrested with material evidence while colluding with the controller of the district department of the “Energosavdo” enterprise affiliated with this joint-stock company and receiving 90 million soums in exchange for installing a 400 kW transformer, preparing all the necessary documents in accordance with the relevant procedure, and connecting it to the network to create a charging station for electric vehicles on the land of an individual entrepreneur located on the M-39 international highway.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under Article 214, Part 3, Subparagraphs “c, d” of the Criminal Code, and investigative measures are being taken.

In another case recorded in Jizzakh region, during an operational operation conducted in Jizzakh city in cooperation with the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the deputy director of one of the secondary schools in Namangan city was detained while demanding 20 thousand US dollars in exchange for providing applicants with test questions and answers for the national certificate in chemistry and biology, which gives preferential treatment for admission to higher educational institutions, through official acquaintances, and receiving 8 thousand US dollars and 156 million soums.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this individual under Article 25, Part 4, Subparagraph “a” of Article 168, Part 4, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code, and investigative measures are being taken.
