A man committed suicide during a fire in Tashkent (video)

On March 1, a gas explosion occurred in an apartment in a multi-storey building located in the Karasuv 4 area of ​​Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent city.

According to the Tashkent city Fire and Rescue Department, fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene and determined that the fire had started as a result of a gas explosion in an apartment on the 9th floor of a 9-storey building.

The fire was extinguished, 6 citizens were rescued and transferred to the emergency medical service. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the fire in the house where the incident occurred.

According to the Federal Fire Service, in the house where the fire occurred, a citizen attempted to commit suicide by turning on a gas stove in the kitchen. When the gas exploded and a fire broke out, he jumped from the 9th floor and died.
