On November 9, 2025, members of the Uzbekistan national team continued their successful participation in the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in the city of Jeddah. Three athletes entered the ring in the quarterfinals.
In the 65 kg weight category, Abdullo Madaminov defeated Nigerian Rahim Opemini with a score of 4:1 and advanced to the tournament's semifinals. This victory guaranteed him at least a bronze medal.
Additionally, Madijar Daniyarov achieved another remarkable victory. In the 60 kg weight category fight, he defeated Libyan Muayid Okash by technical knockout in the second round.
However, not all athletes were able to advance to the next stage. In the 70 kg weight category, Samandar Habibullaev lost to Azerbaijani boxer Sarkhan Aliyev with a score of 1:4, ending his competition in the quarterfinals.
