Riyadh 2025: Uzbek Athletes Win Silver Medals


On November 11, 2025, Uzbek athletes secured two silver medals in karate and swimming at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the karate competitions, Gulshan Alimardonova from Uzbekistan claimed the silver medal in the 50 kg weight category.

In the final match, she competed against her Iranian opponent, finishing in second place overall. Meanwhile, talented swimmer Ilya Sibirsev participated in the 200-meter freestyle swimming competition.
