Ireland Defeats Hungary to Advance to Playoffs

On November 16, 2025, the Ireland national team defeated Hungary 3–2 away, climbing to second place in Group F and securing a spot in the playoffs of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The match began with Hungary putting on strong pressure, quickly opening the scoring.
