Despite this, the Croatian midfielder didn't hide his personal closeness to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Modric cited playing alongside Ronaldo for several years at Real Madrid as the main reason. This cooperation was rich not only in great victories, but also in deep human relations. Modric described Ronaldo not only as a leader on the field but also as a sincere and humble person in life.
According to the Croatian footballer, many people only imagine Cristiano as a tough, demanding, and competitive player on the field.
