Real Madrid are aiming to significantly strengthen their midfield in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to AS, the club’s top focus is currently on 19-year-old midfielder Kees Smit, who has been shining for Dutch side AZ.
The young player has said he would not be against continuing his career at a top-level giant after the season ends. That is why Real Madrid want to work on signing him specifically in the summer. Sources say the fee demanded for the transfer could exceed €60 million.
At the same time, it is noted that Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is not included in Madrid’s shortlist. However, interest in Vitinha of PSG still remains. It is also emphasized that completing this deal will not be easy.
