Injured Mbappe wants to play against Atletico

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe intends to speed up his recovery and return sooner than expected. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.

Initial estimates suggested he might not be ready for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Atletico, but the player does not want to accept that outlook. According to Diario AS, Mbappe’s goal is to treat the injury as quickly as possible and help Los Blancos in the derby.

The Real Madrid vs Atletico match will take place on 8 January. Before that, on 4 January, Xabi Alonso’s team will face Betis in La Liga.

This season, Mbappe has been posting strong numbers, scoring 29 goals in 24 matches.
