In the fifth round of the Champions League group stage, PSG defeated Tottenham 5–3 at home. Early in the match, the London side opened the scoring, but the Parisians equalized three times before eventually pulling ahead.
In the final minutes of the game, the hosts were left with one less player on the field but still managed to secure victory. At the beginning, Tottenham played well, organizing successful attacks from the flanks.
Richarlison's precise shot opened the scoring. After that, PSG took control of possession but struggled to find effective solutions in attack for some time.
Later, Vitinha equalized with a powerful strike following a corner kick. Heading into halftime, the teams left the field level and engaged in an intense battle.
In the second half, the visitors went ahead again, this time with a goal from Randal Kolo Muani. The hosts responded through positional play, with Vitinha scoring again to mark a double.
Subsequently, Fabian Ruiz delivered a precise strike from the edge of the penalty area following high pressing, changing the scoreline. Pacho added another after capitalizing on a poor clearance from the opponent.
Tottenham retaliated with a swift central attack. Kolo Muani took the ball under pressure, outmaneuvered a defender, and struck into the far corner, bringing the score to 4–3.
Tottenham then attempted to take control of the match but made a mistake in defense. A handball by Romero led to a penalty, which Vitinha converted confidently to complete his hat-trick.
