“Uzhydromet” shared the weather forecast until January 18. According to it, in the second half of the week, the weather across the country will change sharply, with rain and snow possible in some areas. Night temperatures are expected to drop, and foggy days will increase.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be variable most of the week. On January 15–17, rain or snow is possible in some places. Fog is also possible. Night temperatures will gradually decrease, reaching -2 to -7 degrees Celsius by January 17–18. Daytime temperatures will vary from warm to cool.
In Bukhara and Navoiy regions, the weather is also unstable. On January 15–17, precipitation may occur in some areas. Night temperatures may fall from positive to negative values, while daytime temperatures are expected around 2–7 degrees Celsius.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the beginning of the week will be relatively warm. But after January 15, the weather will start cooling, with rain and snow possible in some places on January 16–17. Foggy mornings are also likely.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, short-term precipitation is possible on January 16–17. Daytime temperatures there are expected to decrease to 5–10 degrees Celsius.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will also change in the second half of the week, with rain and snow possible in some areas. Daytime temperatures will be around 2–7 degrees Celsius.
In mountainous areas, the weather will become even colder. Precipitation is possible on January 12 and 16–17. Night temperatures can drop to -7 degrees Celsius.
Experts note that in the second ten days of January, temperatures will gradually decrease. In the third ten-day period, in some northern areas, night frost may reach -15 to -20 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is recommended to prepare for winter weather in advance.
