PSG defeated Rennes 5-0 in their home match in Paris in the 15th round of the French championship. The host team gained complete dominance, especially in the second half.
The Parisians quickly took the initiative and successfully utilized the right wing of Rennes' defense. They kept the opponent's penalty area under pressure with short passes.
Shortly after, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia crossed from the wing into the center, outmaneuvered two defenders, and landed a precise shot into the near corner. This goal increased PSG's dominance and forced Rennes to retreat.
A few minutes later, Senni Mayulu doubled the lead. Barkola broke into the penalty area, providing an accurate pass to the striker.
Mayulu scored with a long-corner. Rennes tried to attack from the flanks, but few dangerous situations were created.
The Parisians' defense played confidently and managed to keep the opponent away from the goal. In the second half, PSG continued to dominate the game.

The final goal was scored by Gonzalo Ramos. He completed the counter-attack after Dembélé's pass and shot into the near corner.
Rennes player Jake's removal from the field put the opponent in an even more difficult position and didn't allow him to change the outcome of the game.
